Imagine Books and Gallery (shops 84/85) grew out of the

popular Richard Rennie Gallery (1993-2001) when I took over

the business from Richard in early 2001.

From about 2003/4 the book stock grew gradually and we

expanded into shop 85 in Mar/April 2008. I have managed to

keep a fairly diverse stock considering the relatively small size

of the premises, roughly 50% fiction paperbacks and

50% non-fiction including of course SA history, biographies,

Modern first editions, etc...

Most of the stock is arranged in strict alphabetical order, and I

personally ensure that the books are as clean and presentable

as possible for the customer.

Customers are invited to relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee

as they browse the shelves for something special.
